Probable the most awaited real time strategy game of all time, Starcraft 2 will still feature the same amount of races as its previous games but will further build on the gameplay element. A number of new units have been talked about, including the Thor of the Terran’s, the Mothership, and the Dark Templar of the Protoss. The different units of each race are going to be balanced out well with powers of one unit of a race getting replicated in units of other races in a different form. The story will continue from where the previous game and expansion pack left off and will tell the story of a time when The Zers were the dominant race. The game will still be broken up into Episodes that further break up into levels and missions that can be played with any race.

Multiplayer has got a lot of importance in this version of the game and a lot of improvements will be made here. The Battle.Net service has become ever bigger and the new ranking system will come in place to enhance the competitive matchmaking.
